Varda Rotem | Sculptures

Closing a certain circle in her world is similar to those series of miniature sculpture cast in Perspex, sculpture that lies somewhere between gold jewelry and her early sculpture in browse. The tiny sculpture enbles mobility and exhibition in faraway places. Rotem’s grappling with gold figures in contrast to rusted and corroded iron, precious metals like gold and silver. Such sculpture finds its expression in mintature cast inside a block of Perspex, and in jewelry lines by Rotem.
